In order to do a portrait figurine of you, a relative, or friend, the picture must be clear. Color reference photos (head shots) are needed.  These can be 35mm photos or digital-computer photos, but they must be CLEAR. The person cannot be smiling (can look pleasant- but closed mouth), in color, and from the above angles.  The hair-do in the photo is the hairdo that will appear on the figurine.  Please supply at least one front-shot with the hair pulled back from the face (even if the  figurine will have bangs). An additional fill-out sheet (hair & eye color) will be needed also.

Other photos may be included such as photos of the outfit and other items wanted within the figurine.  Please note that several reference photos are helpful and needed when creating your figurine.

Note: the little girl’s hair was lighter than the photos indicated.  Photos do not always get accurate eye & hair coloring.

The dress is part of the carved figurine.  Clear photos of the dress (front & back) are needed as reference.  I cannot copy (in carving) what I cannot see in the photos.
